Congratulation to Novice 85lb Sabotage wrestler Mason Phillips. Mason placed first in all 3 styles at the Twin City 3-style Tournament in Chehalis over the weekend. Friday night in the Greco tournament, Mason had 9 opponents in his weight class. He walked through the competition with 3 falls, 1 Technical Fall and 2 decisions landing him the honors of Greco Champion. The next morning at the Freestyle tournament, Mason’s competed in a tough 14 man bracket scoring 3 Technical Falls, 2 Falls and a decision giving him the Gold Medal. In the Folkstyle tournament on Sunday, Mason had a pin and two major decisions to round off the weekend with a perfect tournament.
This was a huge event drawing hundreds of wrestlers from all over the Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Congratulations, Mason!
