Sponsorship is a very important part of what Sabotage Sports is about. Families and athletes sometimes have a tough time with the costs associated with select sports. Sabotage Sports would like to provide a way for our athletes to fundraise by raising awareness to their friends, family and the community of their needs and how they can sponsor a particular athlete. This can be done through the Sabotage Sports Sponsorship Program and can be done one of two ways:
1. Direct Sponsor Donation
Direct sponsor donation directly to the athlete named with 100% of the funds going directly to the designated athlete.
2. Contest Sponsoship
Contest sponsorship by entering our contest starting on December 1, 2011. Any person can participate by making an entry to the contest posted on the Sabotage Sports Sponsorship Page. The amount to enter the contest will vary by prize and will be credited to the designated athlete of choice with 75% of the donation going to the athlete’s scholarship or travel account. Each athlete will be able to receive the funds for airline travel or to reduce the monthly costs for team membership.
The Scholarship and Travel Fund is a specific account completely committed to Sabotage Sports Members and is managed by Accountable Bookkeeping Company. Funds accrue until the athlete requests they be transferred to their account on designated distribution dates. Donations and contest entries are not tax deductible but a receipt will be provided upon request.
The contest rules and prizes will be posted no later than December 1, 2011.
